Cort are forging a great reputation, particularly in the acoustic guitar market, with many of their more affordable models often found in the big magazines as review subjects that earn high marks. Wunjos are now also stocking the growing range of electric guitars from Cort alongside the acoustics, and here is the first example of those, a lovely jazzer which gives a nod to the halcyon days of New York jazz, the Yorktown.
Possibly with the intention of competing with the likes of Epiphone, Tokai, Gretsch, maybe even Gibson and PRS, this double cut beauty offers al the details and features that Cort have made almost standard on their electrics, especially here at vthe high end: Flamed maple top caps a mahogany body containing coil tapped humbuckers, below a mother-of-pearl/abalone inlayed neck. Lovely guitar at a lovely price. Phone for more details on Cort products at Wunjo Guitars.
Not just a fine reproduction ('copy' is such a dirty word) of the classic Gibson 335, it's a fine reproduction of an old and slightly battered 335. The Source is part of Cort's latest series of serious electric guitars which are now being stocked regularly at our humble guitar shop. We may sell this quite quickly, but if we do, there's always more where that comes from.
Like TV's Richard Hammond, Cort will have a go at anything, and here is a fearless and menacing metaller's guitar complete with hard hitting humbuckers and a Floyd-Rose Trem. It is also equipped with a coil tap for those gentler moments... or if you only wanted the dogs and the mice to hear your solos.
Last but not least is this lower end version of the M-600 that you may have noticed sparkling and twinkling above. Nice that Cort offer something to all levels of players, if they'd been around as long as the likes of Gibson, they'd be legends too.
