SOLD!!! Making the Hofner section look almost complete is this lovely old Senator, all original except for that pickup sympathetically installed at the neck to add the much sought after electric aspect to it's appeal. This doesn't interfere with the pure 50s acoustic tone though, don't worry, we wouldn't allow it.
SOLD!!! This Hofner is cute. I hate the word cute, but I can't think of a better one to describe this beautfully clean Congress with a factory neck pickup. Maybe beautifully clean would suffice, but it doesn't really sum it up as well. This Hofner has soul and mojo, and they don't really come much mintier, so it'll be one for the HOfner anoraks to apply their German magnifying glasses to, but they won't see so much as a fly in the ointment. Great price aswell! We include a hard case in the deal.
It looks like an earlobe, so bereft of any other name for this odd looking guitar with a p-90 and a humbucker, we have called it the Earlobe guitar. It's got Hofner written on the headstock, although it's likely it's not really a Hofner, so get forum-ing and let us know if you can find out anything about it. In the meantime, someone will come to the shop and buy it and love it for what it is, just how God made it.
