SOLD!!! Of course this is exactly the same guitar as the Harmony Stratotone, just with a different badge on the headstock. Alot of guitars were being made in Chicago during the the 50s and 60s for the booming mail order business, and various names were put on the same models. Of course, it IS exactly the same guitar, so you would still know what to expect: Classic vintage twang and feel, and a lot of attention from your audience.
SOLD!!! SEE BELOW FOR FURTHER AMP-IN-CAN SILVERTONE'S IN STOCK... What an amazing invention. I was just saying to my (friendly and helpful) Wunjo colleagues, why do they not think to do something like this nowadays? Buskers would love it! We'd all love it! The amp-in-the-can. In the words of Gil Scott Heron: The Revolution Will NOT Be Televised. The guitar is super clean and original, the amp sounds creamy and twangy and is all valve.
We have just taken delivery, (direct from the USA) of a couple more examples of these magical and mystical electric guitars from the days of the Sears catalogue. Sadly, the two we've had in are not complete with the amp-in-can hard case, however they are complete with all the usual charm and twangy tone, and are clean and fully original. Pictured are full length photos of both guitars, and close ups of the main featured piece.
