There are some things in this world you just have to get excited about. The Football World Cup, your best mate's wedding day, even your band's first gig at the Catford Ram. This guitar however, may top them all: Not only is a Rickenbacker 481 rather a rare model that you won't see in many places, the 1974 incarnation that we have on sale here contains a unique pair of Rickenbacker made humbucking pickups, covered in a black casing that was replaced with a chrome version the following year. Furthermore, I haven't even mentioned that infamous Rickenbacker innovation, the slanted frets, and the reverse phase switch built in to keep the pickup switch company! This guitar is not only rare, it is also very clean and fully original, and we are selling it complete with the original case. Get excited!
MAPLEGLO JUST IN!!! Complimenting the range with a 12 string option on the 360, Rickenbacker have every base covered with this stunning MapleGlo model that has just arrived all shiny and new. Hard case included. We can stock from new (albeit subject t6 a two year waiting list!) and also receive plenty of second hand trade with Ricky's offerings, so if you want to find out more, just give us a phone at the shop, or send an email.
Now here's a Rickenbacker 330 with a difference. No, sadly, it's not one that you can actually afford. No, the difference here is of course a lovely bit of binding around the edges giving this MapleGlo guitar a touch of the George Harrison look about it. Apart from the bound edge, spec-wise, it's essentia3ly the same guitar as a standard 330 except that it also features those classic toaster top pickups which are no longer the standard on the current 330 models. So you're getting a bit extra for your money with this guitar, and your friends won't have one, so snap it up before they do. Includes a hard case.
SOLD!!! Like Eastenders, we are fortunate enough to have received a batch of fresh Ricky productions. This brand new one in MapleGlo is accompanied by a quickly diminishing range of siblings including 360/12s and 330s, also in MapleGlo and FireGlo, so get down here quick if you don't want to miss out. Everyone's talking about them! Original hard case included.
JUST IN!!! As a perfect compliment to any guitarist's battery of axes, a 12 string alone would complete the palette of sounds, but a Rickenbacker 12 string... you'd be spoiling yourself rotten. Just in is this, a brand new 330/12 in one of my particular favourite finishes of any guitar let alone Rickenbackers, the Fireglow red even sounds like a cool finish. It probably even tastes good, if a little spicy. As always, new Rickenbackers come with a RIC hardcase as standard.
As much as I hate using the word 'cute' when it comes to describing a guitar (it's tantamount to a rugby player describing a bunch of flowers as 'pretty'), you have to say, this guitar certainly wins even the most hardened alpha make over on charm alone. Coupled with the fact that it's a beautifully preserved early 70s Rickenbacker in original condition (apart from changed tuners) then you have a veritable Mighty Mouse of a guitar. A very rare thing to see, and it's certain to attract alot of attention, so if it's set your pulse racing, don't spend too long on the Mull of Kyntyre, get down here quick! Includes the original hard case.
SOLD!!! Looking all cool and sultry like one of those skinny film stars at an awards ceremony, it's a fabulous and brand new Rickenbacker 620 in MapleGlo. Fans of John Lennon will be particularly interested, this is the model he used quite frequently during the 'pre-weed' days. A solid body guitar with single coil pickups that can scarcely be bettered for tone, one of the stand out features of this guitar is the through-body neck, making it one of the best playing feeling and sounding guitars you'll ever find. See, anyone with any sense plays a Rickenbacker!
Now I'm thinking that Rickenbacker didn't go through a phase of making guitars for children, but for the second time this month of July, we've had a vintage Rick that appears to have shrunk in the wash. This little delight is the 900 model, a 3/4 size 1 pickup electric cut to what is known as a double Tulip shape. Very pretty. After 1969, the body shape changed to a cresting wave shape, presumably to wave a forlorn goodbye to flower power and get on with real life, so this is an original and very rare piece complete with the original hard case.
If this Rickenbacker was any newer, it would still be on the test bench in Santa Ana. OK, this is not a new guitar, straight off the shelf, but it's as good as, and going by the 4001 Bass we just received from the factory - which was made in 2008! - the word new is quite ambiguous when it comes to Ricks. This natural finished 330 complete with original hard case is in mint condition save for the removed factory sticker from the scratch plate. So for you, dear customers, what this amounts to is a brand new Rickenbacker for aot less than the price of a brand new Rickenbacker. It's how we roll.
SOLD OUT!!! This fresh looking thing is the next model up from the aforementioned 620, and has a similar shape with a thru-body-neck and a walnut capped body. This one's a bit different though as the pickups are in fact humbuckers! If you are having to turn on your pacemaker at the sight of it, better be quick as this has been discontinued, and we all know how hard it is to get hold of Rickys at the best of times. Original hard case included.
