Binson
Price: £2695
When it comes to cars and designer suits, we all know that the Italians know how to do things properly, if a little extravagantly. So when in the late 50s, they decided to make a unique electronic echo effects unit, you know they'd be taking leaves from the books of certain Messrs Ferrari and Armani, and making something so bloody expensive you'd instantly be compelled to believe it to be the best in the world. The same still stands today. The Binson Echorec cost more than an AC-30 when it first came out, and now it costs more than your kitchen, but you've only got to have a look, and then have a listen to see why; quality sound, quietness, and stability oozes, such as few other echo units of the fifties, sixties, or even today can offer. Dripping with money, the Pink Floyd lot decided to use it on 'Dark Side' for a five minute long example of something echoing, and many artists are still using them today. Binsons were unique in their construction, utilising a specially designed steel/alloy disc or drum, which carried a durable flat metal 'tape', so there is innovation and durability along with that Je ne said quoi... oh wait, that's French... erm anyone speak Italian? So, this is a rare opportunity to own something a bit special. Feel free to sprint from your meeting to get your hands on it.

Vox
Price: £2500
SOLD!!! I don't need to say anything do I? This is, in fairness, not the cleanest example of an early sixties vintage amplifier, but it is all original, original speaker in particular a joy to behold glimmering like a sapphire in the back of that tweed cabinet. This amp is from a collection of similar pieces seen elsewhere on this website, which were formerly used on tours and in the studio by the country greats The Flying Burrito Brothers. Talk about a Gilded Palace of Sin, step in to Wunjo guitars just at the moment and you could find yourself doing something extremely naughty with that piece of plastic you keep hidden at the back of your wallet!

Orange AD200 Mk3 Bass Stack
Orange AD200 Mk3 Bass Stack

Orange
Price: £1995
If ever there was a monster bass amp, then this is it. As you can imagine, this enormous hunk of British bass beef pumps out some serious tone at some serious volume, inspite of the signature Orange covering which you can take slightly less seriously. Such a beautifully simple amp with just volume and EQ to play with, you know it's going to get the best out your playing, and that you're going to easily get the best out of it. Of course, you might need to hire a roadie with a van to go with it, which unfortunately we cannot provide in the deal. Could be a one-off so hurry if it's what you're after.

Vox
Price: £1895
None of this modern re-issue business going on here, this ladies and gentlemen, is a genuine 1968 Vox AC-30 in all it's clean and almost original glory. It's not a red playe JMI, but it is, as you will see from the c3ose up of the control panel, 'a JMI product'. Sadly, the original speakers have not survived the journey, and in their place are a set of more modern celestion speakers, but otherwise, this is a true period piece, and will make you sound and look the part if you want to show off your musical Britishness to an American, or other nationality.

Fender
Price: £995
Another beautiful point-to-point wired tweed covered re-issue which forms a part of Fender's vintage re-issue range, the '57 Deluxe is 12 watts of pure vintage valve heaven. Wired to faithfully reproduce the tone of those 50's amps, and weighted so as not to break to backs of such gentleman who were around at the time of the originals, this amp is a delight, especially when hooked up with a nice Strat or a Tele. Equipped with a Jensen speaker, this is second hand, but we can get you a new one direct from Fender anytime you like. Meanwhile, enjoy the great price!

Hi Watt
Price: £995
A big bad bruiser of an amp, this 50 watt tube combo will save your dentist a bit of work if you have any fillings that need removing. One 12 inch speaker screams out some fearsome tone in the best tradition of the HiWatt name, a viable, if a smidgin pricey alternative to Marshall or Orange. As we're not HiWatt dealers, this second hand amp is just a one off, so hurry if it's what you're after.

Gibson
Price: £895
Now, before I begin, I just have to make it clear that it was Gibson who copied Fender making this little valve amp, not the other way round. I can't have people thinking them big nasty Gibson people invented everything. Now that record is set straight, al that remains to be said is that this amp may be a copy of the Fender Champ formula, but it's a very good copy, and therefore is also a very valuable and desirable piece, the sort of copy you actually want to have. A little bit of damage to the front logo, otherwise this piece is original and everywhere it should be.
