Not being awfully well known for their acoustics, Fender obviously knew they'd have to make some pretty good ones in order to convince the Gibson and Martin swing buyers that their flat tops were worth a punt. The Palamino (very satifying if pronounced in a North East UK accent), is clearly aimed at one particular market: Those who like their necks skinnier than a supermodel on a diet. The bolt on neck with strat style headstock is so skinny that you can almost see the truss rod coming through the wood. Overall it's a lovely guitar with great looks and feel, and the tone will not disappoint either. Sold with the original hard case, for collectors and players alike
If you are the son of a Surf guitar God, and you have a nice chat with those suits at Fender HQ, then you'll probably get to design you own signature acoustic guitar. In the case in Jimmy Dale, son of surf guitar God Dick Dale, that dream has certainly come true, and here's the guitar to prove it. The Kingman Jimmy Dale is a fanstastic electro-acoustic model, specially designed for great playability and comfort and minimal feedback when plugged in. That's a fishman Classic 4T pickup installed in the side, in case you were wondering. Great guitar, and it comes with a Fender hard case.
Find yourself in a similar state to that which you'd be in having spent a little time in Malibu. No, the place in the world, not a bath of the tart fuel liquor! The Fender Malibu sits sure-footedly in the range as a budget electro acoustic not too small to squeak through a PA system like a little mouse, but equally, not too big to travel with. As an ironic joke, you could even travel to Malibu with it and play a gig. A bit of a longwinded joke, but hey, you'd get a nice guitar AND a nice holiday!
Lake Placid must be a lovely lake. I think I'd like to sit by it and serenade my sweetheart with this guitar. If nothing else, she'd certainly be impressed with the fantastic tone produced by this solid topped, scalloped braced cutaway dreadnought currently on sale at Wunjo Guitars. She's got an ear for a good box you see, even if she does hate my singing. This guitar also contains a pickup.
Reclining on the beach in Hawaii, sucking on a fresh Pina Colada and watching the breaks, Dick Dale must been wondering how long it would be before Fender came knocking on his door to offer him reward for his years of faithful choppery on upside down strats and offer him a signature model. I wonder if he was happy ith the final outcome... this little Malibu electro-acoustic is a great guitar, it just looks a bit... you know. If you don't mind the gaudy pictures, then you'll love it, and you'll be playing Misirlou over and over until a big wave comes and slaps you out of it.
The Fender Sonoran continues the little cult tradition started by the Malibu guitars of the 80s period - acoustic guitars with strat headstocks at affordable prices. We have just started stocking these new models again, so come down and have a play and look cool like you're from the 80s or something!
Slightly further up Fender's Asian made Dreadnought range than our best selling and much loved CD-60, is its older sister the CD-140 featuring most prominently a solid spruce top amongst other slightly more standard features such as scalloped bracing and a smooth gloss finish. Ideal for starting off or as a back up, this will appeal to those of you who take Ikea furniture out to pic-nics in the country.
Being a Fender stockist, this is just one of the big range of Fender acoustics we can get in. This fits easily into the 'affordable' bracket. Ideal for beginners or travellers, we stock them in black (as shown) as well as sunburst and natural finishes. Available to order.
