Richard Thompson's signature Lowden flat-top, his reward for years of loyal Lowden playing, is a sensational musical instrument from head to foot, and from the moment you pick it up you'll be head over heels in love with the tone, the feel and the beauty, as well as the lure of joining the family of Lowden owners who you can share the secret with. This guitar features some quite astonishing woods and materials, most notably the figured Ziricote wood used for the back and sides, and the AAAA grade Cedar wood used for the sound board, and the 5 piece mahogany, rosewood and walnut neck. It looks like a deluxe chocolate cake, and sounds just as tasty. Fitted with Elixir strings, cased in a Hiscox flight case complete with provenance from Mr Lowden, this is the flagship Lowden, and the first of a brace that Wunjo Guitars has just received as part of our new dealership.
