We are always delighted to show off some of the latest models on behalf of our favourite guitar makers, and here we have on of this year's new babies from the Takamine stable, the EG755 S. From the front, you'd think you were looking at a very handy Martin OM copy, and indeed, OM is the format they have gone for here, a lean O-sized flat top with, of course, the trademark pickup installed (TP4T preamp) to make it a true Takamine. Ask it to give you a twirl however, and you'll be ooh-ing and aah-ing at the sumptuous inclusion of a quilted maple back and sides. Now if you stopped and thought about it, you probably conclude that this guitar is pretty bright. Well you know what? It is, pretty bright indeed. Therefore, flatpickers may probably want to navigate back to the dreanoughts, but fingerpickers, this one is definitely for you. A comfortable player with great projection and a classy look from any angle, this is definitely a great value guirar at £495, now available and on sale at Wunjo guitars.
