The amp responsible for a number of venue roofs being blown off, as well as guitarist's heads and probably a large amount of PA systems now you mention it, the Hot Rod Deluxe, the loudest single 12", 40watt amp in the world (even with the volume on 2) has now been upgraded to come in line with the other black plate Fender amps in the 'Blues' range. Upgrades from the previous incarnation (this one is billed the Mark III) include highlights such as the streamlined footswitch (presumably to help the tour van go faster), “tighter” overdrive (to go with your leather trousers) and a Celestion® G12P-80 speaker (to make it sound lush). One of Fenders most enduring amps, it'll be around for many years to come, with many eardrums to pop. Available new and second hand at Wunjo Guitars.
