Not as widely known or used as the flagship AC30 amp, the AC15 none-the-less deserves its place in the range of legendary Vox guitar amps, and punches well above its weight alongside rival amps by Fender and the boutique boys. Equipped with a single 12" Celestion Greenback speaker (Alnico Blue speakers are an option), the Vox AC15 C1 pumps out a tone that is smoother and richer than a Galaxy Chocolate bar, and will leave you feeling suitably topped up with musical endorphins after a good session. 15 Watt valve amps tend to sit nicely in the pocket of amps that are loud enough to compete with a reasonable drummer at gigs and rehearsals, whilst not being impossible to lug about town.
