Bruno Royal Artist (Tenor)

Price: £1,495.00

Year: 1932

I imagine that over the years, Royal families of various nations around the world have gone to great lengths to conceal the vast amount of Banjo players amongst their ranks. Their cause cannot have been helped when, during the golden era of manufacturing, the Charles Bruno Banjo company were producing this model, the 'Royal Artist' Tenor banjo, a beautifully crafted and exquisitely built tenor banjo of the kind of quality that could only be fit for a King (or a Queen). Made in the early 30s (we estimate about 1932), all the finest woods and metals have been poured into this 'Majestic Special' as is proclaimed on the rosewood veneered headstock, written in abalone. The hoop is brass and the back features some beautiful birdseye maple, leading your eye onto the stunning handcarved neck which competes the regal look. This is a stunning piece, and is complete with the original hard case.
