With a name like 'Little Wonder', you can imagine that this Banjo will not only be wonderful, but also quite small. Pretty close on both counts then, because you do indeed get some absolutely fabulous tone from what is a very lightweight and uninhibited open back banjo with a fast and low profile neck and all the hallmarks of a classic Vega, without the bling, the bells and the whistles. In fact, the Vega star on the headstock is just about the only feature that sticks its head above water on this model, the rest just speaks for itself. The spec as far as the meat of the Little Wonder goes looks like this: A premium quality 3-ply rock maple rim, nickel-plated hardware, strong brackets shoe construction, a 24-piece flange, a top frosted head, one piece armrest, and a classic Waverley style tailpiece. Easy to set up, fast and easy to play, lightweight for grueling tour schedules, this is officially a Little Wonder of a Banjo.
