Having Fender make you a signature model is not bad for a one hit wonder, but while this Eric Johnson Strat is supposedly a thankyou from Mr J to all his fans for their support over the years, we should probably be thanking the Cliffs of Dover ourselves for inspiring the artist that wrote the hit and scored himself the signature model that we can all enjoy. It's a lovely bit of gear, with some cool features on it like a very thin nitrocellulous lacquer finish, staggered vintage-style machine heads that eliminate the need for a string tree, and the custom pickups that are wound to Johnson’s specs. Also a nice touch is the bound neck, which just gives it that little element of specialness... is that word? Anyway, great guitar available from new at Wunjo Guitars, with a tweed hard case included.
