One of the finest examples from the Chet Atkins range, and a fine example in itself, this double cut Country Gentleman from 1967 has survived its 44 years on this planet incredibly well. It's also survived a recent trip across the Seven Seas, along with all the other vintage guitars in our vintage haul from across the globe, including a number of other lovely Gretsches you'll soon see elsewhere in the international shipment section. Aside from this being a beautiful clean piece, this is a hollowbody that will get your juices flowing in a way only a Gretsch can do. Once you've had a poke of confirmation at the painted F-holes, you'll settle down to a little session of figuring out all the switches (Tone switch, pickup selector and kill switch at the back, with bridge mute lever added in for good measure) before getting lost in all that creamy tone. This guitar looks, feels and sounds like a smooth silk bedsheet, and the Filter-Tron pickups produce an equally sexy noise. All this, and a nice hard case included. Lucky you!
