Fender

Fender have got to win the award for most products called the same name. Call it a self-pat on the back, or a lack of imagination, but Champ or Champion has been quite a popular name for quite a few amps since the company started, and of course, this classic lapsteel model. Still, they deserve to blow their own trumpet a little bit, the Fender Champ Lapsteel (Champion before 1955, Champ there-after) certainly has become one of the iconic and sought after of all the lapsteels, a solid and toneful instrument that produces a sound like a peal of bells on a Californian Sunday through that lone single coil pickup. This Champion from the early to mid to 50s certainly possesses all of that beauty and quality, and survives in excellent condition with all its original fixtures and fittings. Couple it up with a nice old Fender amp and you've got yourself a winning combination. So knock the cat off your lap and settle in with a classic vintage lapsteel like this. Case included.
