If you're a lapsteel player and you like exotic woods, then you'd better pay attention, we've got something pretty special for you here. The brainchild of a Mr David Cole, a furniture craftsman turned luthier from St Petersburg FL, the Crosbie Lapsteel range is like a botanical garden without the foliage and with beautiful string sounds and Kent Armstrong pickups making the noise instead of birds. Crosbie Lapsteels are really the product of someone who has as much passion for the beautiful woods of this world as they do for making beautiful musical instruments out of them. This Lap features Caretto wood on the carved top, along with a whole host of other exotic treats elsewhere on the instrument such as Koa and Ebony. As mentioned, the pickups installed are Kent Armstrong humbuckers (a pair there-of), ensuring that all in all, the tone of this instrument is, well, phenomenal to say the least. These are in limited numbers as they are imported by hand from the USA. Hard case included.
