There's nothing quite like the feel of Bakelite, and this amazing lapsteel from all the way back in the 40s is covered in the stuff, in all sorts of different colours aswell. Mason is not such a well known name, for the simple reason it is not an American brand. These were made in Canada, and often came with matching amplifiers, although this piece is just by itself.
