Is there anything that the Fender Musical Instrument company won't turn their hand to? One thing is for sure, they certainly do a nice little range for folk musicians with Banjos, resonators, ukuleles and as you can see, Mandolins all part of the range. So what's a Fender Mandolin like then? Pretty good by all accounts, it's had some nice reviews, and I'm just in the process of writing another gleaming report here. For an A shaped Mando, it sits nicely on your lap and punches out some pretty powerful volume, and a nice balance of tops and mids and bottoms like a gang of fitness freaks hanging out outside the gym singing Handel's Messiah. As with many of Fender's instruments, it also represents excellent value for money, and for £295 you get a tremendous instrument that will serve you well. Well done Fender. Again!
