Looking quite resplendant in it's fairly rare coat of Walnut coloured paint, this is a stunning example of an early 30s National Triolian resonator guitar. The Walnut colour was introduced around this time, so this makes this piece particularly interesting from a historical point of view. In 1937, a fake-wood finish was introduced, along with a slotted headstock and 14 fret neck around the mid to late 30s. You're going to go and have a look at YouTube and a fair number of very similar pieces, so have a good listen because this guitar sounds every bit as good as what you're hearing from our friends across the pond who are lucky enough to own one of these already. This piece is largely very cleamn save for a small dent you'll see pictured, and is 100% original including the original hard case. Stunning piece and very rare.
