Guild D-20E

£1499.00 Available to order

An amazing acoustic guitar already | the Guild D-20 coiuld only be inproved one way: fitting a pickup. Well | that's exactly what they've done | and here is the result | the fabulous Guild D-20E fitted with the L.R. Baggs Element Active System pickup. Guild was started in the early 1950's in Manhattan | New York | by one Alfred Dronge and George Mann. Since then they have built their reputation on guitars like the D40 | the 'Nick Drake' M20 | the Kim-Thayil-favoured S100 Polaris | and the Bluesbird. Perennially a Wunjos favourite (they're just cool) | this re-issue of the original 1968 model is Californian-built | all solid mahogany with an LR Baggs Element pickup in it | and the 25 5//8/" scale mahogany neck is topped by a rosewood fingerboard and bone nut. Its satin varnished body is perfect for all that big chord-bashing you'll be doing | and the thinness of the satin finish means that the body should open and develop rather nicely. The Guild D20E comes with a Guild humidified archtop wood case | and benefits from our 2 years of servicing and setups as standard. Please call for availability
