Fender Fretless Jazz Bass (2000)

In Stock. Next Day Delivery order before 3pm

Fancy doing a bit of slinking? This 2000 Fender Fretless Jazz Bass is exactly what you need. There’s a bit more to a fretless than Jaco Pastorius, as we’d assume the like of Jeff Ament, Les Claypool, Tony Franklin and John Patitucci might have something to say about that, but if you want to report the weather this instrument is ideal. Built around an Alder body finished in 3-colour Sunburst, the Fretless has a Maple neck paired with a Rosewood fingerboard. Strung here with tapewounds for optimum slitheriness, this bass is so slick it carries a Speechcraft of 200, and for anyone looking to get that definitive fretless, you’d be very hard pressed to find anything better or more versatile. At its heart, this is still a Jazz, which means that anything you want to accomplish is more than doable. The American single-coil pickups are wired through the traditional independent Volume controls with a master Tone, delivering all the Jazz sounds you can expect and imagine from an instrument with such adaptability. Whatever you need to do, if it doesn’t need frets, this is the bass for you, and is less likely to let you down than anyone you’ve ever met. Protected by a three-year warranty with our taped-up techs, this 2000 Fender Fretless Jazz Bass is available at Wunjos with its original hard case as standard.
