A true legend in the guitar world, this vintage 1972 Gibson J-200 Artist is a big lad for a big world. There's still plenty of players who associate this large-bodied strummer with the King, the Everly Brothers and so on, but this is the super-fancy version with all sorts of spanking details. If you like to bang out a serious chord or two, this is the guitar for you, especially in this murderously beautiful Cherry Sunburst finish. Built around a solid Spruce top with solid Maple back and sides, the Artist has a 3-piece neck topped by a bound Ebony fingerboard with crown inlays, complete with a set of Gold Kluson ribbed golden tuners and a triple-bound headstock. It's always the small stuff that rules though; that detail-inlaid cowboy bridge for example, but honestly, if you want a brilliant instrument that will always make you smile no matter the occasion, this is it! Even the triple-ply binding is magic, and will have you sounding so good you'll wonder who you are. The Artist isn't often seen in this finish, so it's unlikely that such an instrument will linger too long in the shop - get down and test it sharpish! Protected by a three year warranty with our jumbo techs, this vintage 1972 Gibson J-200 Artist is available at Wunjos with a hard case as standard.
