From a name that's synonymous with Japanese guitar building comes this 1975 Columbus Jazz Bass. While Columbus built a lot of copies of things, it's their Les Paul and Jazz Bass copies for which they're mostly known, but as they're nimble instruments we don't get to see as many as the internet would have you believe. This rather clean example of a mid-'70s Jazz is a dandy old cat and no mistake. Looking every bit the mid-'70s Jazz, it's got all the right bits; a black-bound Maple neck with block inlays, a finger rest, tortoiseshell scratchplate, sunburst body, 4-bolt neck plate, open-gear elephant-ear tuners - what more could you want? How about two J-style single coils wired through 2 volumes and a master tone? How about an ever-cool ashtray bridge cover and pickup guard? Let's not mess each other about - this is a sweet looking bass with many of the appointments of a Fender from the same period, and aside from the replacement of one of the knobs with an MXR-style number it is as it came out of the factory. That in itself is a minor adjustment, and if you're looking for a slick backup or a primary bass that your mates will envy with curiosity, this is that bass! Now protected by a three year warranty with our Columbian techs, this vintage 1975 Columbus Jazz Bass is available at Wunjos with a gig bag as standard.
