Guild was founded in 1952 by Alfred Dronge | and as a company has spent its history making some superb guitars | not least of which were the famous D40 and S100 Polaris. Following on the massive success of their Chinese-built M120 | the company has elected to make an American re-issue of the M20 | the guitar on which the M120 was based. The California-built M20's solid mahogany body is finished in a natural or sunburst satin | sporting a bone nut and 20 frets on its mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard. The 'Nick Drake' guitar | as it is often known (for its extensive use on Bryter Layter) | comes with a humidified archtop case | and its diminutive concert body lends itself very well to the most fingery-picking of fingerpickers. The Guild M20 comes | where appropriate | with an LR Baggs Element pickup | and benefits from 3 years of servicing and setups as standard. Please call for availability._
