As Italian as Venice, this vintage 1976 EKO M-24 isn't what you'd normally associate with a brand better known for making mad-looking acoustics. Italy produced some pretty wild guitars in the 1970's; this outlandishly inlaid double cut has a few hidden surprises up it's tailored sleeves. Built as part of the Professional Unibodies M Series using EKO's Uniblock technique, the meaty M-24 centres around a solid Maple through-neck with Maple wings a la Rickenbacker. With its beautifully bound body and raunchy humbuckers, the M-24 is a handsome devil indeed, sporting a bound Ebony fingerboard atop that slim Maple neck. Furnished with beefy block inlays and that striking, distinctive headstock, it's a bit of alright to be sure. The humbuckers are wired through twin volumes and tones with additional dip switches in between. These split the pickups to give phase tones, and according to the original brochure are 'housed in a proper way, contributes to easy access in case of need', so its new owner will sleep soundly even if there is need. A banging example of high-spec Italian magic with plenty of sounds on tap, these are seldom seen, so get down and scope it out! Now protected with a three year warranty by our benne techs, this 1976 EKO M-24 is available at Wunjos with a gig bag as standard.
