Well well well, this is a find; an all-original, vintage 1965 Airline 3P Res-O-Glas! Yes, you read that right; this thing is as it was at birth, no messing. The sort of guitar that causes spasms to White Stripes and Black Keys fans, this 1965 example of the Airline 3P is a serious old lady and no mistake. Built from Res-O-Glas - a form of fibreglass - and with a Maple strip inside the body to anchor the steel-reinforced neck, this 20-fret riff-wizard is fitted with three bucker-sized single coils, each with an indepedent volume and tone control in addition to a master volume. The neck is Maple and topped with a Rosewood fingerboard, heaving with big-block inlays, in addition to that most '60s of features, the zero fret. That instantly recognisable headstock is still furnished with its original tuners, a set of three-in-a-line closed-gear white-button affairs that have aged beautifully to cream. It is rare indeed to see one of these in such unspoilt condition, but whomever had it before has clearly cared for it a great deal, so its next owner can look forward to years of trouble-free maiming with its unique appointments. Infinitely cooler than whatever you've got, this won't hang about, so get down and give it a whirl! Now protected by a three-year warranty with our cream-coloured techs, this vintage 1965 Airline 3P Res-O-Glas is available at Wunjos with its original hard case and documentation. Yes, that's right.
