Maton SRS70C

£1649.00 In Stock. Next Day Delivery order before 3pm

This is one of the newest of Maton's guitars from their 'Solid Road Series' (hence SRS), that offers yet another dimension in the eternally changing world of acoustic flat top guitars, the Maton SRS70C. That you have the proposition of a cutaway dreadnought electro-acoustic is no front page story, but as the name of Maton's series suggests, this one has been built and marketed with live performance and touring firmly in mind. Added to that Maton's typical penchant for choosing local woods rather than the usual combination of done-to-death tonewoods, you can be sure that you are buying into something a bit different, a bit special indeed, when you buy a Maton. Nestled snuggly in the mid-range in terms of price, the spec is very pleasing, such that you feel like you are buying a safe pair of hands, as it were. Tasmanian Blackwood adorns the back and sides, all solid of course (the 'Solid' in Solid Road Series has a double meaning!) with a Sitka Spruce top. There's a lovely Sapele rosette and Indian Rosewood fretboard and bridge to finish the set, with a bone nut and saddle and chrome hardware. Finally, with the AP5 Pro pickup installed in the side, you have the makings of a modern classic. A superb guitar built for the stage, built to last. Avaiable new at Wunjo's. Three-year warranty included.
