The sound of a mandolin doesn’t just sound good on Stonehenge. Developed from the mandolino in the mid 18th century, the mandolin has found itself in a lot of places, from bluegrass and folk, to black metal and punk, so we like to make sure we’ve got a few handy examples. This 1938 Style A is in ridiculously good condition considering its age. Insanely well kept and with years ahead of it, this sunburst gem is all original, complete with 4-in-a-line open gear tuners, a soft v-profile neck, neat body binding, a mini tortoiseshell scratchplate, oval soundhole and the knowledge that it’s outlived a lot of the bands you like. A fantastic piece from very back in the day, this 1938 Martin Style A Mandolin is available at Wunjos with a 2 year warranty and hard case as standard. Please call for availability.
