Although the Lowden range is full of large-bodied, bone-powderingly powerful acoustics, few instruments in the range have ignited the staff like this, the WL-22 Wee Lowden. A frankly breathtaking acoustic achievement, this diminutive dancer has more depth and heft than a number of guitars that are significantly larger, something that is achieved not only through masterful construction, but through the correct choice of woods. Built around a Red Cedar top, with Mahogany back and sides. This combination means that this little instrument delivers true depth in spades, responding beautifully to both chords and fingerstyle, while lightly favouring the more tender guitarist. A five-piece mahogany/rosewood neck is topped with an Ebony bound Ebony fingerboard, which is equipped with gold Gotoh SG381 with Ebony buttons. A Rosewood bridge gives you every moment of resonance you might need, and if there's an acoustic style this guitar wouldn't serve, please let us know, so we can tell you how wrong you are on a scale of 1 to 10. The Lowden WL-22 Wee Lowden is available at Wunjos with a 2 year warranty and Hiscox LiteFlite as standard. Please call for availability.
