It's no secret that a significant portion of the Wunjos staff love a smaller-bodied acoustic. From Guild M-120s to Fender CP-100s, a diminutive picker is a welcome asset, capable as they are of note definition and delicacy that is difficult to achieve with larger guitars. We're also rather fond of Simon & Patrick, one of Canadian maker Godin's most popular lines. This particular model is the Woodland Pro Folk, a relatively smaller-bodied acoustic with lots of pokey mids and an elegant, understated appearance. Built around a select pressure-tested solid Spruce top and solid Mahogany back and sides, this beguiling acoustic is furnished with an eternally refined slotted peghead, complete with back-facing butter-bean tuners and a Tusq nut and saddle. Both the bridge and fingerboard are constructed from Rosewood, but it wouldn't be a Simon & Patrick without the inclusion of some lovely pickup and preamp, and indeed, the Canadians deliver, with a B-Band A3T undersaddle piezo for all your live needs. Truly a wee cracker, to quote the man, this 14-fret join guitar is grand for those who pick softly, but need an instrument with enough heft to push the big chords out when needed. The Simon & Patrick Woodland Pro Folk is available at Wunjos with a 3 year warranty and TRIC case as standard. Please call for availability.
