1971 Fender Telecaster with 'Factory Bigsby'
1971 Fender Telecaster with 'Factory Bigsby'
This guitar has been independently examined by Kevin at Stairway to Kevin instrument repair on Denmark Street
Here are his notes on it:
‘A nice example of an early 70's Bigsby equipped Telecaster, truss rod is in good order and the guitar feels nice to play. Neck Date - 3 AUG 71 B. it has undergone a few changes over the years (as detailed below) but is an original Factory Bigsby guitar. A couple of extra notes - the bottom strap button is a newer one, the 1st String bridge saddle are replacements, and the pickguard is an old Fender one, but I can't be sure it is original to this exact guitar. Neck profile is very slightly larger around the back than most from this era and is a pleasant surprise.’
