S/H 2021 Gibson Custom Shop 1934 Jumbo Acoustic Guitar, Three Tone Sunburst

Where it all began! 

The precursor to the famed 'J' series from Gibson. In 1934 Gibson introduced the largest size acoustic guitar they had ever produced, it was only built for two years before it gave way to the J-35 in '36 and the J-45 in '42 and the rest is (and made) history, with Gibson securing rank amongst the highest tier of acoustic guitar builders on the planet. 

Rightly recognised as an important turning point in Gibsons production history, its been revived by their Custom Shop and the results are remarkable! With a thermally aged Adirondack Red Spruce top, solid Mahogany back and sides, 25" scale and a historic deep 'V' neck profile, this guitar is as resonant, rich and articulate as it is powerful. With a sound so wide and balanced that it sounds like you're playing in stereo! 

It's definitely been played, with some signs of wear on the upper bout from some emphatic strumming, but in fairness its hard not to play this thing passionately!
