S/H 2022 Gibson Original 50s LG-2 Acoustic Guitar, Antique Natural

Small but mighty!

The LG-2 has been a crowd pleaser since its debut in 1942; portable, affordable and always reliable, it made for the perfect touring companion for any guitarist out on the road who was short on space and tight on budget. As time went on and as WWII came to end, the consistency and fine tuning of its design continued to develop and reached a peak in the 50s, so It's no surprise that Gibson decided to release these faithful Original 50s LG-2 reissues to the modern world.

Comprised of a bright and springy solid Spruce top with scalloped 'X' bracing and a rich Mahogany back and sides, the LG-2 offers a punchy and mid-focused tonality that has a surprising amount of volume for its size. And armed with an L.R. Baggs HiFi DNA pickup system to accurately capture its lively tonality, this guitar is ready to hit the road some more!

It's seen some stages and has signs of play wear and pick marks on the top by the shoulders but is in lovely playing condition.

It comes complete with our two year set up and servicing warranty included in the price.
