Whilst they didn't fly off the shelves when introduced in 1958, the Explorer has since made its mark on history, gradually changing the publics opinion and turning their heads from some of the more immediately successful guitars in Gibsons extensive range. 

It's cutting edge design, Ebony finish, high output pickups and comfortable slim taper neck profile, it's safe to say this guitar absolutely rocks.
