This week, Brandy returns from his adventures with Robert Godin full of enthusiasm for one of his creations, the Simon and Patrick Trek Folk.

 

"This is my staff pick for the sheer reason that it offers great value for money. Quite frankly, I think it should be more expensive for the quality.

The sound board is made of select pressure wood, which is hand selected from the finest timber and tested again and again for durability.

The guitar has back and sides made from Wild Cherry, a wood unique to Godin’s region of Canada. The guitar produces a lovely big sound, thanks to the Adirondack spruce bracing.

I can safely say there are no other guitars on the market that sound and look this good in this price range..."
