S/H 1959 Hofner President Hollow-Body Archtop, Natural

Produced between '52-'73, the Hofner President was a fantastic and accessible thinline Archtop for the European market, built to rival Hofner's American competitors across the Atlantic. 

Composed of a Maple top and laminate  back and sides with flamed Maple veneers, the President came in at an approachable price point and even now with its vintage stature, maintains the same attitude. A keenly priced, impeccably crafted vintage German jazz box, that looks the part as well as playing it. 

It's in great condition for its age, and whilst it has all of its original parts, it looks like it once had a pickup judging by the divet in the scratchplate and the screw holes by the fretboard. Which if so, has unfortunately been lost somewhere along the way to us.
