S/H 1964 Gretsch 6117 Double Anniversary, Sunburst

A beautiful Double Anniversary in the classic 6117 smokey Sunburst, unveiled in the 1958 to celebrate Gretsch's 75th year in instrument production, the Double Anniversary swept the market as a high impact, affordable and versatile hollow body that could perform in any arena it set foot in. 

Armed with dual Hilo'Trons that match the mid-range acoustic resonance of the hollow body with the scooped frequency response of the single coil pickup to make a wholly balanced and impressive tonality. With the added capabaility of the 'mud switch' that employs a series of capacitors to carve out any sharper high end frequencies, the tonal possibilities of this guitar are seemingly limitless! 

It's in fantastic condition for its age, with minimal signs of play wear and only a slight appearance of Gretsch's infamous 'binding rot' on the bass side shoulder. It comes complete with it's original hard case and our two year warranty all tied up in the price.
