What a looker!
One of the finest examples of an early CBS Jaguar in all playability, style and sound that we've had come through the doors. Finished in factory Lake Placid Blue with matching headstock atop its iconic, mid 60s fully bound neck and big block MOP inlays embedded in its Brazillian Rosewood fretboard, truly a sight to behold!
With original grey bobbin single coil pickups, cloth wiring and pots all correct, the sound out of this thing is fantastic. Even with the strangle switch engaged on the bridge pickup, its tonality never crosses into being too shrill or sharp (which can often be the case with Jags from this era). A brilliant pair of well balanced pickups with heaps of tonal variety from it's switching and rhythm circuit that can manouevre through whatever genre you throw at it.
It's seen a few changes to keep it playing through the years, a professional refret and a replacement bridge with mustang saddles for stability, although the original is included in the case, and a non-original hard shell case has been provided. Its seen some stages over its years, with the appropriate amount of wear to show for it across the body and the neck but that all just adds to the charm of this fantastic instrument.
It comes complete with our two year customary set up and servicing warranty included in the price.
