S/H 1966 Martin D-18 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar, Natural

The Martin D-18 has been a main-stay in Martin's production catalogue since its debut in the early '30s. Exploding in popularity in the post-depression era as a result of its undeniable quality and affordability, The D-18 has proven time and time again that focusing on choice wood pairings and meticulous craftsmanship will deliver a truly sensational instrument. 

This particular example is a testament to Martin's build quality, at 60 years old this guitar plays and sounds as sweet as ever. The age honoured combination of a solid Spruce top and solid Mahogany back and sides in the dreadnought design provides the perfect balance of glassy articulation and a robust low-end depth and projection. Braced with a rear shifted, non-scalloped X brace that helps keep the top resonance tight and embolden the guitars mid-range and note definition.

It's in great condition for its age, there are some signs of patina and play wear, typical of its years but nothing to impact the structural integrity of the guitar. 

It comes with a non original hard case and as always, our two year set up and servicing warranty included in the price.
