What a looker!
Debuting in 1959 alongside the ES-335 but marketed as the more affordable counterpart, the ES-330 had to work hard to step out of its fraternal twins shadow and cultivate a reputation all of its own.
With the combination of it's hollow-body construction creating a rich and woody resonance paired with it's dual single coil P-90 pickups, dilvering articulation and bite from the bridge and a dulcet warmth from the neck, it's no wonder this guitar found favour in the hands of artists spanning a multitude of genres; from Grant Green to Elliott Smith and beyond!
1967 was a transitional year for the ES-330, after the evident success of the ES-335 with its higher fret access, Gibson decided to adapt the ES-330s original 16th fret neck join to a 19th fret join to align the two models feel and playability. But this wasn't standardised in 330 models until 1968, so what we have here is a very early example of that decision that stood the test of time in action.
It's in fantastic condition for its age, theres a beautiful amount of Nitro checking across the body particularly around the upper horn and the only change to its originality is its replacement bridge.
As always it comes complete with our two year set up and servicing warranty included in the price, and whilst it no longer has its original hard case, it comes with a fitted SKB flight case to ensure its protection.
