S/H 1968 Gretsch 6103 Streamliner Hollow Body Electric Guitar, Cherry Red

Whilst advertised as an introductory model in the 1950s/60s, these mid-century Streamliners prove that they were built with the expertise, quality and care that we would expect from a professional standard instrument today with a brilliant amount of tonal range.

Made from a laminate Maple body to mediate cost, but also execute the beautifully arched top and back of its hollow thinline body. This particular model has a wonderful amount of acoustic volume that supports the broad dynamic range of the staple Baldwin era Super'Tron humbuckers that have the added versatility of its tone switch, darkening the sound in any position to offer a richness and depth of character to its tonality.

It's all original and has definitely been played and its binding has certainly seen better days but that's quite common of Gretsch guitars from this era and reflected in the price. Otherwise it's held up very well for its years!

It comes complete with our two year set up and servicing warranty included in the price.
