A Rickenbacker with attitude! 

Adapting the iconic, offset silhouette of their 4000 series, Rickenbacker began producing a solid-body guitar that sounded and played like no other for the time.

Breaking out of the reputation they had garnered for bright and delicate tonality, they equipped the 481 with dual Humbucking pickups, increasing the power and depth of their sound. Great at high volume and high gain, but with an added phase reversal switch for an extra tonal option that becomes more familiar to the traditional Rickenbacker sound. 

Rickenbacker have been at the forefront of guitar innovation for decades. From the frying pan (the first electric lapsteel) to the 481 and a key feature of this particular guitar is its 'Slant Frets' which were designed to accomodate the natural forward lean of its players fingers, resulting in a more comfortable and ergonomic playing experience. 

It's in wonderful condition, with only minor signs of cosmetic play wear that is to be expected of its age. 

It comes with its original hard case and our two year set up and servicing warranty included in the price.
