S/H 1977 Fender Musicmaster Electric Guitar, Black

A brilliant CBS era Musicmaster in great condition has just arrived!

The Musicmaster underwent some changes after the first decade of its production, but as soon as Fender unlocked this formula it remained consistent until its discontinuation in the early 80s! It came with a longer 24" scale length to its 50s predecessors, with a tighter tension but still a manageable size and price tag it began to find favour with players from beginner to professional alike. Paired with an offset body and dress it all in black and you have yourself a hard working, great playing vintage punk rock engine that's still got plenty of songs left in it!

It's original from top to bottom with only one point of note, there has been a humbucker rout marked that never got carved beneath the scratch plate in the bridge position. Aside from that, all straight!

It sounds great, with the 70s single coil pickup delivering a lot of bite and clarity despite being in the neck position. It comes complete with our two year set up and servicing warranty included in the price.
