S/H 1978 Gretsch 7670 Chet Atkins Country Gentleman Hollow-Body Electric Guitar, Walnut

From Chet Atkins to George Harrison to Lou Reed, the Country Gent has had a career spanning a multitude of genres which in itself is a testment to it's quality, design and how versatile this guitar can be in the right hands.

With it's hollow design and large lower bout spanning 17" in homage to its Jazzbox forebears, but paired with the sleek thinline depth that swept the world in the late 50s/60s. The Country Gent bridges the gap between styles, as comfortable in a Jazz session as it is in a Rockabilly gig, loaded with two dynamic 'Blacktop Filter'Trons' that deliver a dynamic and expressive sound with a focused mid-range bite, tameable with the tone switch on the upper horn to deliver more depth and richness. It really is diverse as it is stunning! Dressed to the nines in gold hardware, and original top to toe.

It comes complete with our two year set up and servicing warranty included in the price, feel free to get in touch for any further information via the contact form below!
