S/H 1987 Fender MIJ Standard Precision Bass, Candy Apple Red

Fender's Japanese output from the 80s is held in particularly high esteem, the quality of the craftsmanship is proved time and again by how well they've lasted and continue to hold their own in comparison with their American counterparts. 

This '87 Precision Bass from the FujiGen factory is a true testament to that fact, perfectly contoured to a '57 specification in body and neck profile, with the time honoured combination of Alder and Maple, finished in a striking Candy Apple Red. It looks, sounds and plays the part to an incredibly high standard. 

The original pickup has been swapped out for a higher output split coil.
