S/H 1989 Music Man Stingray, Honey Burst

There weren't many instrument companies that managed to get themselves a seat at the table with the legacy brands, but in 1976 and with Leo Fender at the helm, Music Man debuted the Stingray.

A bold new shape with an even bolder sound that used an unusual style of Humbucker; wired in parallel and active with a two band EQ boost/cut to carve out its own space in a dominated market and remains one of the big hitters to this day. 

This fantastic 1989 Stingray follows that original design, an Ash body with a Maple neck and 34" scale length and that inimitable Humbucker with 2 band EQ. Delivering a powerful and dynamic tonality that can be as aggressive as it can be dulcet, with a rich low end response and tight, articulate highs.
