S/H 1991 Dobro Model 33H Resonator

Produced by OMI in the early 90s, the brilliant Dobro Model 33H single cone Resonator has stood the test of time unscathed, which is a tall order for any chrome instrument!

Made of Bell Brass with a beautiful Hawaiian beach etching on the Chrome plating, it's every bit as good as it looks. Resonators are well known for their bright and plucky tone that pairs beautifully with finger-style or slide. initially designed to help guitars cut through the mix of larger band ensembles by amplifying the resonant frequencies interally with a large metal cone, the result of which created a tonality unlike any other and they have been a staple in country and blues ever since. 

This Dobro plays beautifully and has a really balanced sound which a suprising amount of depth for this style of guitar. Its previous owner has taken the liberty of installing a Highlander IP-1X pickup and its external power unit is provided with its original case.

It's in great condition with only minor signs of play wear and comes complete with our two year set up and servicing warranty.
