S/H 1997 Martin D-28 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar, Natural

The Martin D-28 has been a trusted companion to some of the most influential guitar players and song writers of the century. From Hank Williams, to Neil Young, Jimmy Page and John Mayer. A classic design established by Martin in 1916 for the Ditson Company, replicated 100 times over by acoustic guitar companies all over the world but seldom improved upon. 

The D-28 is a testament to how stripping away the frills and focusing on construction, quality material, bracing and playability will deliver the ultimate accompaniment. The match of a solid Spruce sound board and two piece Indian Rosewood back and sides delivers a combination of bright articulation from the top and a rich mid range and depth from the back. The Martin designed scalloped 'X' bracing allows the lower bout of the Spruce top to resonate more freely and the Dreadnought shape projects all the power we've come to expect from this style of acoustic guitar. 

It's in great condition with only minor signs of play wear from its near 30 years out in the wild and comes complete with our customary two year set up and servicing warranty included in the price.
