S/H 2007 Gibson Custom Shop '59 Reissue ES-335, Sunburst

A brilliant custom shop reissue of the Gibson's trailblazing, semi-hollow design: the '59 ES-335. 

Debuted as the bridge between the incresingly popular solid body electric guitars that were taking the 50s by storm, and the traditional archtops that paved the way for their success. The 335 combined the rich resonance of the acoustic chambers in the body with a solid Maple centreblock, allowing the Humbuckers to work to their full potential at volume with an enhanced, full bodied mid range frequency response. Dynamic and impactful without conceding articulation and note clarity. A true triumph of guitar building and this '59 reissue is a faithful homage to it! 

Built of a premium three-ply Maple/Poplar/Maple body, loaded with the highly revered 57 Classic pickups, a solid Mahogany neck, Rosewood fretboard and 12" radius. Finished in a stunning Sunburst.  

It's in pristine condition and comes with its original hard case and documents. As always, our two year set up and servicing warranty is included in the price.
