The prowess of the Gibson SJ200 has made lasting impressions on audiences since it first took to the stage in the 1937, it's size and striking appearance alone are enough to write home about before the first chord is even played. 

This pristine 2026 edition is a real statement piece; comprised of a AAA Sitka Spruce top and matching AAA Maple back and sides, hand scalloped traditional 'X' bracing underneath the 'Classic White' finish and gloss Nitro lacquer. Gibson have ensured that no corner was cut in matching the quality of material and construction with the detail and craftsmanship of its appearance, delivering a show stopping instrument in both style and sound. 

Sonically it has all of the projection we have come to expect from and instrument of this size but the pairing of Spruce and Maple create a bright, glassy and articulate top note to the guitar that compliments the rich low mid range resonance of the body. All of which is captured by the L.R Baggs Anthem pickup system it comes loaded with as stock.
